SF Farms

Producers of Free-Range, Hormone and Antibiotic Free Meats, Eggs, and Produce.

Farming has been an important aspect of life in the Johnson and Evans families for many generations. Ethan, the son of Stan and Florence (Evans) Johnson, is carrying on the family tradition.

In 2012 Ethan started SF Farms with twenty Heritage Hertford hogs, a few Buff chickens, and a small garden. Since then he has grown the operation to a scale of around 150-200 free-range hogs raised on fifty acres of rotating pastures, six chicken coops, ducks, quail, turkeys, a greenhouse, and forty acres of gardens. As much as possible, gardens are kept pesticide- and herbicide-free. SF Farms is committed to the welfare and humane treatment of animals, providing lots of natural forage and free space to roam. As of 2016 the pigs, sheep, and chickens are all Animal Welfare Approved.
